autochthonous grape variety of Trentino Alto Adige that has always grown well in the surroundings of Cantina Toblino in Valle dei Laghi.

Vineyards

sloping vineyards cultivated with the traditional pergola trentina method. Thanks to the suitable weather and soil conditions that exist in the area of Valle dei Laghi, these grapes give origin to a particularly pleasant Schiava Rosato.

Vinification & Aging

after crushing-destemming, a short cold maceration takes place in contact with the skins followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. Brief aging of a few months in stainless steel.

Organoleptic characteristics

a bright, clear rosé color. On the nose, it is fragrant with light red fruit undertones. On the palate, it shows a soft delicate body, easy to drink, dry with a light almond finish.

Tasting & Pairing

best consumed whilst young at a temperature of 8–10°C, in medium sized wine glasses. Schiava Rosato is suitable for all occasions and ideal to accompany a light snack or bread with cured meats. It is perfect with light pasta dishes or pizza.
